The United States was formed, functioning and respected after the War of 1812. However, our "democracy"' was limited to only those white male Americans who owned land. In the 1820's that all changed. Andrew Jackson made our government more democratic than ever before!

1. Referendum One:
All male students will stand any time a female student or teacher enters the room. They will only sit down after she has.
2. Referendum Two:
Any student caught using their cell phone during class must bring the entire class a treat the next period. Failure to comply will result in loss of participation points for that week.
3. Referendum Three:
Any student who enters the classroom after the tardy bell rings will be required to perform “I’m a little teapot” in front of the class. . . With actions!
